Basic Western or Vedic astrology returns on the inbreath and represents past KARMA  - good or bad.  The Cosmic Clock initiates a restored or recreated opportunity, whereby each OUTBREATH gives the opportunity to resolve and resurrect the past.

Alchemy or Manifestation can be mastered by balancing the INTANGIBLE WATER EMOTIONAL  element from the invisible spirit (feminine) aspect of nature. This is key to a "balanced 3 fold flame". See Water Trine Poem

Being Centered or Present is a state of balance in the middle of the chart without duality, opposition or polarization. Mastery of the chart is where X /Y oppositions 9 (cross) leads to the Center point (ETHER) creating a place for a Z axis and pathway to Source (CHRIST- consciousness or CHRYSTALization)
